The customer needed a fast, reliable response that complied with fire safety standards, which was essential to meet insurance requirements and ensure the safety of the building’s occupants. With a six-week deadline and critical systems to keep running, it was essential that the customer have at least two systems operational during the work. The challenge for LM’s Control Division was to manage safety and efficiency simultaneously without compromising the deadline.
LM designed an innovative approach to solve this problem strategically and non-intrusively. The three fire systems were replaced one by one to ensure that the building was never without a backup solution. At each stage, the LM team supervised the dismantling of the existing panel, the installation of the new panel, and comprehensive validation testing with plumbing and alarm partners. To complete the project, LM’s Pump Division took charge of overhauling the pumps and replacing the fire pump motors. Thanks to seamless coordination with our partners and our Pump Division, the project was executed smoothly and without compromising on quality.
Through a structured and collaborative approach, LM not only met its customer’s expectations, but also exceeded safety requirements, ensuring long-term compliance while minimizing disruption. This partnership is proof that LM is a trusted partner for large-scale challenges.
